The landlords do not make it easy for the leaseholders to keep a healthy business going, and that's when they are NOT in direct competition. Now that there are some restaurants that RL has a direct stake in, look for more and more restaurants to close. Some, like Sinclair's, they can squeeze directly. With the others it isn't quite as easy, but as we are already seeing, it is quite possible.

For more in-depth discussions about a similar subject, search for threads dealing with Cecil's on the Lake (Kowaliga) shortly before it "disappeared."
