On 8/10/09, I posted to this forum a copy of an e mail that I had received from a WH group promoting Obama's Health Care legislation. I could not understand how I became part of their e mail distribution since I have never communicated with this group.

Today, after seeing the WH news conference, I now understand. Major Garrett from Fox News asked Gibbs about E mails that people had received from Axelrod and they had never requested information from Axelrod. How did Axelrod get their e mail addresses? How did one of Obama's group get my e mail address? I conclude that they are already accessing citizen's personal data. How far have our personal freedoms already been violated? As I said earlier in some post, Barack's new name is Hugo. We are on the same path that Chavez gradually moved Venezuela to.

I saw that. The arrogance of the present press secretary reminds me of the arrogance of the Clinton years. Pitiful.

The WH has been sending info giving it's side of the Healthcare debate with the request that it be forwared to friends. Hate to inform you folks but looks like you may have friends and relatives who support Obama. Hope this doesn't lead you to change your minds and decide we need the "death panels".

the republicans for getting rid of the death panels that your president wanted to decide if your life was worth paying for continued care or should you be unplugged.

Here's the opinion of one Republican Senator.

Georgia Sen. Johnny Isakson, a Republican who co-sponsored a similar measure in the Senate, said it was "nuts" to claim the bill encourages euthanasia.

"You're putting the authority in the individual rather than the government," Isakson said. "I don't know how that got so mixed up."

Blumenauer said the controversy was helping Democrats in a "perverse way."

By continuing to spread a widely refuted claim, Republican critics are undercutting their own credibility, he said. The controversy has drawn more attention to the original proposal, which passed largely unnoticed when a health overhaul was approved by three House committees.

I know the truth hurts and when you can't handle it you do what all liberals do ... start attacking and name calling.
