This weekend at the lake we had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, cornbread, biscuits, mac and cheese, slaw, strawberry shortcake, extremely rich brownies, sea salt cashew caramel ice cream, and other stuff. I fried 4 chickens and made the gravy and cornbread. The rest of the menu was pot-luck from the other four boats. We do like to eat on Center Hill!

2 racks of babybacks on the Weber with baked beans, tater salad, sweet tea and coconut ice cream to follow. Nothing exotic, just a traditional starter meal for the opening of the lake for the season. Sliced maters will be added in late June??

Not a problem.  Ever since the episode a few years back, Mrs. LNG has rigged a super duper gotha device that would put moonshiner booby traps to shame.  We will, however, keep a look out in late June.  BabyBack Mack seems to keep an eye on the hydrangea blooms, so as to predict the tomato ripening.

Hoping for a good crop this year!

When we see blue
