Don't think the Deep State exists and that they hate this country?  Look no further than Former CIA Director Michael Hayden who called for the assassination of Senator Tuberville over the weekend because he was holding up military promotions because they are breaking the law by paying for abortions.  Now just imagine if a conservative called for the assassination of a Dem Senator.  The FBI would have already raided their home with 10 paramilitary agents with AR-15's.  This guy has a high level security clearance.  He should be arrested for this....but we know they won't because the FBI and DOJ are compromised partisan leftists.

Something tells me we are at the steroid point of "SHxT hitting the FAN"

As if having the military leaders confirmed would make a difference.  Look at who we have had.

When asked why the holdup, the answer is always "Tuberville from Alabama"

Maybe the answer should be Wokeness and Leftness in military challenged by Tuberville from Alabama.

All he is demanding is that they stop violating Federal law, which they are clearly and openly violating.  And the nonsense about how this impacts the military is just that...nonsense.  So we can't go about our business because some general doesn't get his 3rd or 4th star?!?!?  How fragile are they?  Waaaahhhhh.......I can't do my job because I don't have my 4th gold star on my uniform.  And every one of the job promotions he is holding can be advanced individually by the Senate as recently happened with the next woke, diversity hire for Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.

First Trump is saying that Milley should be shot for treason; now Hayden saying that Tuberbille should be killed.  Do reasonable, rational adults talk like this?  Particularly given the society we now live, publicly saying that someone should be killed is irresponsible.  I find it repugnant.

As far as the military, there is this.  General Officer pay is capped at the 2 star level- so even if you are a three star and technically are at a higher rate of pay, your pay is still capped at the 2 star level.  The additional pay is only relevant to their retirement pay.

Additonally, the military can "frock" someone who is on the promotion list- can be put in the job and assume the rank of the new level.  They just don't get paid until they are confirmed.

Having said that, I personally think Tuberville is wrong and should give this up.  It makes no sense that someone in the miltiary that is assigned in a state that permits abortion can have one, and then someone that is in a state that doesn't allow abortion and must travel out of state to have one, has to be paid by the military to travel to get one.  The military guarentees its members free health care.  It's random that in some states you can and in other states you can't, because military members don't have a choice where they are assigned.

The human life in the womb they are taking.  The woman had several choices, starting with keeping her legs closed if she wasn't taking birth control if she didn't want a baby.

I am down with your body, your choice, until it comes to taking another life, mostly for nothing more than inconveneince.  I might  feel different if  birth control weren't so readily available, but it is.  Several forms of contraception can be found vertually everywhere today.  It is totally irresponsible to get pregnant when you aren't prepared to raise children, physically, emotionally and financially.  I totally understand being single and ready to mingle, but take responsibillty for the possible consquences.

I am NOT a right wing nut but there has to be a line drawn somewhere and I say if it can't be drawn at taking the absolute most innocent of lives among us, then we are gone as a society. This is how I feel, and I rarely even discuss this topic with anyone becuase in my expereince no one ever changes the other sides mind.

We look back at societies throughout history that practiced human sacrifice and talk of how barbariac they were for the practice, yet today condone basically the same process.  Some proclaim it's gory in public, but the practice itself is hidden away, out of sight, mostly in low income and totally ghetto neighborhoods btw.  I will climb down from my soapbox now.

There should be a law that the the daddy has to adopt the kid if the mother can't or doesn't want to raise it. That would help solve the problem for single woman that it is the her fault cause she spread her legs or is not on birth control.

A lot of people agree with you about this but the reality is that the military is violating Federal law.  While you might agree with this particular violation of law, the next one maybe not so much.  That is the issue here.  Do we allow them to be lawless simply because we are OK with abortion?  How about if they decide to violate a different law?  But the reality is that the Senate can get around this blockade if they really wanted to....and have.  It's just a pain and inconvenient.

I am OK with that assuming the baby Daddy isn't a reprobate.

Get out of jail free for baby mama, force child on baby daddy who if he was a decent person would have already stepped up - so force the child onto someone who does not want it so the baby mama gets off without any concerns.

Hit them both in the wallet - payments till 18 to whoever raises the child into a productive member of society.  Garnish wages and a work requirement, so no just sitting on the couch to avoid payments.

If a dog pees on your rug, you do not just change where it lives - you train it, teach it not to pee on the rug, not give it a vacation.
