If memory serves me correctly, on the financial disclosure form, if you have no other income (speaking fees, royalty fees) beyong your government salary, and the balance in your checking account runs on average less than $10,000, I don't think you have to report it on the form. Also if you are invested in munciple bonds or retirment accounts, you don't have to report that either. All the form looks for is possible conflict of interest or if you have high debt, that you might be subject to black mail. If it is not in your name, you don't have to disclose it. If his house is in his wife's nane, it is her asset, not his.
Rmember all the years when Biden claimed to be the poorest man in Congress and used to brag he was not a millionaire? If you are living on your Congressional salary, in DC and maintaining a home elsewhere (like your district) you are not going to be wealthy with a lot of assets.
