What a spectacle.....the clerk and all the slobbering media following as she walks down the hall with the ridiculous indictment of anyone associated with Trump and then when she gets to the door her office she stops, turns and poses for all the cameras.  This is why I refused to live in Fulton County even though my parish and school my kids went to as well as many of our friends live there.

I can tell you that they are not prepared for the response they are going to get on this one from the 500 lawyers representing all those indicted.  This is going to cost the county tens of millions of dollars.  It is also going to give all of the defendents subpeona power.  All those people involved in the shenanigans during the 2020 election in Fulton County, and there were hundreds of them, are going to be subpeoned and deposed and you can be sure will use the 5th to avoid incriminating themselves.  All this for something that did not happen.....Trump did not get the GA electoral votes.

Despite all that, given the likely jury pool in Fulton County it is still possible there will be convictions.  But they won't hold up under appeal.  But think about this, they have indicted Trump's attorney's for providing him with legal advice.  Like the end of the filibuster, which we warned the left about but they were too stupid to listen, this one will not end well for them when the tables are turned.  And even better, what if Gov Kemp, who is term limited, gives amnesty to all those indicted.  That would be fun to watch.

Will be interesting to see how many flip against the BOSS. Rudi is a candidate since he is 79 and will be around 83 after all his appeals as I seriously doubt he wants to die in prison. He was the king of RICO indictments when he was Federal Prosecutor for the Southern District of New York. What a horrible way for him to finish out his life. That is what he gets for attaching himself to the BOSS.

I would like to see Christie as the candidate and donated to his campaign. Better to have him as President than the BOSS if the Rep win.

It is another spectacle.  Even those that hate Trump should be appalled at the theatrics.  Also, it now appears that the indictment was put on the internet while the Grand Jury was still meeting.  Taken down quickly but there it was.  All for a very politically ambitious DA.  Maybe she covets the WH as well.

However much money you donated to Christie was like setting it on fire.  He has zero chance of being the nominee.....zero.  I can't say I would rather have him more than Trump but there are a lot of others that I would.  Ignoring the no names with no hope I would only eliminate Pence and Christie at this point.  But I will never vote for Trump in the primary.  Even if everyone else drops out.

Of course that is why they have all been included in the indictment.....the hope that one or more will roll over on Trump.  Whether that works is anyone's guess but I find it chilling to indict a lawyer for giving his client advice and Meadows for asking for a phone number.  The entire indictment is even more specious than Alvin Bragg's.....which was a pretty low bar.  I await the indictment of Hillary/Abrams or the dozens of Dems that worked together in 2016 to get electors to violate their oath....actually not really because for them it is (D)ifferent.  But watch and wait on discovery and depositions if this goes to trial.  To say it will be a wild ride is a gross understatement.

Time will tell but I suspect that she may be going the way of the laughable loser Alvin Bragg who likeise got his 15 minutes.  Almost all her so-called evidence of this vast racketeering conspiracy is protected free speech. Dershowitz, Turley, McCarthy and other prominent legal minds that are not fans of Trump have all skewered this indictment.

Trump's phone call with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, in which Trump asked him to “find” 11,780 votes, was not "free speech." I read that it is a crime because it’s not “free speech” to solicit a government official to violate their oath of office and commit a felony. Like bribery or blackmail, which are also speech acts, such solicitation is a crime. It is called Solicitation of Violation of Oath by a Public Officer.

We can argue till it snows in July but as a country...we deserve better.

I have to disagree. Politicians say stuff like that all the time.  To me, it's like saying "I need X votes".  While the wording was wobbly, he didn't threaten them to find more votes or else..... I honestly think that of all the different things he is charged with, this is probably the least important.  The only thing noteworthy in this is that she is trying to loop in all these others, hoping someone is going to flip and cut a deal for themselves instead of fighting the silly charges.  I've already heard 4-5 talking head lawyers cut these charges to shreds.  She better hope she can get enough Democrats who hate Trump on the jury.

And I am not wanting Trump to be nominated or re-elected.  I know that Christie is supposed to be moving up in the polls, but he won't be elected.  He's too Jersey for the rest of the country.  Poor DeSanis is out because he has no charisma - just don't have a winning personality.

Goofy, you are suffering from TDS if you think that language means what you said it does.  Taken in context it makes perfect sense but the media and fat Fani intentionally remove the context and you as usual have fallen for it.  Trump believed that he was robbed by fraud in Fulton and DeKalb counties and was asking Raffensberger to investigate.  He knew he needed 11,700 fraudulent votes to go away and that was what he asking Raffensberger to find.  This one, like Jack Smith's phony indictment revolves around Trump's state of mind.  If he truly believed that there was fraud in excess of 12,000 votes and he should have won then his asking the SOS to investigate and find those fraudulent votes makes perfect sense and is not even remotely what you and Fani are alleging.  Unless you think that Trump actually believed he lost GA......which you might given your TDS.

Hound, as I point out below this is just like the Jack Smith indictment...it all revolves around Trump's state of mind.  The only way this might be construed as a criminal act is if Trump actually believed he lost GA....something that could never be proved but any reasonable person would agree is exceedingly unlikely.  If Trump truly believed there were more than 11,700 fraudulent ballots then him asking Raffensberger to investigate and find those ballots was entirely reasonable.  That is how bad this indictment is.

Another pathetic part is the alternate electors.  This was explained clearly by Meadows at the time.  They were challenging the results of the election in real time and had alternate electors ready to be certified.  He stated this as the reason for the alternate slate and this is not unprecedented.  It also makes sense to have them ready to be certified in case the results were overturned.  The rest of the evidence is a complete joke.

Not that I don't think he can be convicted in Fulton County although it is less certain than DC.  But he will win on appeal, mostly on First Amendment grounds.

"So what are we going to do here, folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break," the president said.

Where is the word fraudulent? He was looking for votes...he didn't care where they came from. You like to post fairy tales.

"Well son of a B*** the prosecutor was fired.  "

Glad to know you agree that Quid-Pro-Joe/Bribem should be impeached.

Goofy, all he needed was for the SOS to find around 12,000 fraudulent votes and he wins GA.  Read the entire transcript from the call and stop the silly, inane cherry picking.  Fact, Trump believed there were far more than 11,700 fraudulent votes in Fulton and DeKalb counties.  Fact, he was asking Raffensberger to investigate and find those fraudulent votes.  Fact, that is not even remotely what you and soon to be humiliated even more Fanil Willis are claiming.

I mean honestly, you and I both know Trump actually believed he won GA and believes it to this day.  If true, then him asking the SOS to find those phony votes was entirely appropriate.  That the SOS failed to properly investigate is no surprise....it would make him look bad and both he and Kemp have suffered the ire of Trump.  Not exactly a motivation for helping Trump in his quest.

She only voted one, but I guaruntee every black resident voted EVERY ballot they got in the mail.  Her nighbor, also a widow with a few divorces got even more, but was too embarassed to share exacrly how many.

I read on Twitter this morning that the people in the office call her "Fat Fani" and refer to her as the "Black Karen".
