Saw a segment of Independents on pmsnBS about comparing and contrasting the U.S. and the world under Trump versus Biden and while most of the them voted for Biden in 2020 all of them said they will vote for Trump this time aound...every single one.  Mika looked like she was going to cry.  Here are the issues they raised.

1.  Cost of living - inflation under Trump was 2% or less, costs under Biden have skyrocketed.  People are really struggling paying 25% more for food, services, etc.  And with reflation it is going to get even worse and they know it is Biden's fault.

2. Cost of energy - gasoline, heating the home, electricity have all risen.  They know Biden's war on fossil fuels and push for expensive, unreliable green energy has done this to them.

3. Cost of housing - the spike in interest rates as well as home values make it impossible for many to buy a home.  Biden continuing to pump trillions into a recovering economy fueled inflation causing the Fed to hike rates which makes a home purchase unaffordable for many.

4. Border invasion - they remembered little to no issues with illegal immigration under Trump and they saw Biden undo all his policies and the resulting invasion.  They worry about driving down pay rates, the violence committed by illegals and the incredible cost of all the illegals (hat tip to Abbott and DeSantis for sending illegals to sanctuary cities so people would hear about the cost, experience the crime and violence, etc.).

5. World at war - they recall four years of no wars, the Abraham accords, Iran and the Norks quiet, no Russian invasion under Trump and now they see Europe on the brink of war and the Middle East blowing up under Biden.  They see Biden's weakness and foreign policy mistakes as the cause.

Those were the big issues but several said they could go on.  As much as the interviewer tried to defend Biden the more they pushed back, and on some of his statements most of them laughed at him and shook their heads.  And this was a diverse group of Independents, white, black, at least one Muslim.  The only way Biden wins is either by lawfare or vote fraud.  That's it.  Even his attempt to buy votes with more inflation causing student loan bailouts is going to backfire on him.

Your mouth to God's ear, please. We heard mostly positive forecasts for a Trump landslide in 2020. Did not happen. And now he might go to jail for the huge success he managed. Dems were ready to destroy Trump since 2020, and they are close to success now. Blow.

Lots of gambles to play out in the next few months.

But, I am pessimistic. I look at the "Student" unreat now. I look at how much of our population continue to watch BIASED news. And I wonder if today's adult can differentiate the truth from the chaff. ?
