Well, can't say it's LM sausage balls but here is how we make em'.

1 package Bisquick garlic cheese biscuit mix
1 pound Jimmy Dean hot sausage
8 oz package shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Mix it all up, roll into 1.5 inch balls, place on a baking sheet (with  1/2 inch sides), and bake at 375 until golden brown....depends on the oven, but they usually 25 to 30 minutes. They are great hot, and still really good cold.

Thanks guys. Just getting ready for Fall, in front of the BigScreen with a cold beverage. Thought I would make a huge batch, then freeze them. Take a few out to bake at Halftime??

Well, therein lies a problem. By the time I tune in to the PreGame Show on a Saturday/Sunday and the hunger for a snack hits me, I discover that there ain't any sausage, or Bisquick, or cheese in the Fridge.
Either substitute salsa and chips (nope), or go to the store, buy the stuff, make it, bake it??  Missed half the game.
Freezing is not all bad, done properly. Gotta' try the Sausage Balls. Might be good. If not, well, I tried. These things are too good not to have on hand.
