So all we are hearing these days is how Trump is going to weaponize the DOJ if reelected.....wonder where he got that idea?  Anyhoo...the govt media complex (aka PR arm of the DNC) has once again demonstrated why they are the enemy of the people and a threat to our Republic.  Below is the quote they are using to promote this abject lie.

"If I happen to be president, and I see somebody who’s doing well and beating me very badly, I say, ‘Go down and indict them,".  Sounds pretty bad, right?  Except here is the full question and answer so everyone understands why leftists believe so much that just isn't so.  They get their news from places like pmsnBS, aBS, cBS, WaPoBS, nytBS, etc.

Univision interviewer: “You say they’ve (Democrats) weaponized the Justice Department, they’ve weaponized the FBI. Would you do the same if you’re reelected?”

Trump: “Well, he’s (Biden) unleashed something that everybody — we’ve all known about this for 100 years. We’ve watched other countries do it and in some cases effective and in other cases, the country’s overthrown or it’s been totally ineffective. … What they’ve done is they’ve released the genie out of the box, you understand that. They’ve done something that nobody thought would happen. … They have done something that allows the next party — I mean, if somebody — if I happen to be president, and I see somebody who’s doing well and beating me very badly, I say, ‘Go down and indict them,’ mostly that would be, you know, they would be out of business. They’d be out. They’d be out of the election.”

What is a very reasonable and correct statement is turned into a total lie by the press.  Did he say he was going to do that as many have claimed?  Nope, not even close.  He was correctly pointing out what would happen if he did.

They are still in a tizzy because he used the word "vermin".  Suddenly, he's Hitler again.  Poor Dems are in a state of panic.

As much as I wish there was a viable alternative I think we are in a predicament where only Trump can pull the punches to get us back on the right track. Even with all the anti-Trump endeavors during his administration he has us so on the right path.  His policies were benefiting so many folks.  Most other folks are scared of the bureacracy and he thrives on opposing.  We need the shake up, and let the chips fall where they may.

And if he sees where someones needs an indictment I hope he has a DOJ this time that will do what is right.  He did not have such a DOJ last time, but one weaponsized against him

The point he made is about the consequences of indicting political opponents.  Not that he plans to do so.  The President should not be onvolved in indicting anyone.  Nor should the DOJ make investigatory or indictment decisions based on politics, which they have clearly done in the case of Trump.

Derek Johnson posts on this subject on EOs issued by Trump while he was still President.  Interesting stuff that may well answer who/what imposes corrective action.
