So with the variety of Lake residents and visitors, what do you serve up on New Years? We will be having the traditional ham (smoked on the EGG), black eye peas (soaked overnight and cooked with a ham bone), collard greens (salt pork a must), stewed green beans (cooked the day before and sits overnight in its pot liquor), and of course cornbread. Along with deviled eggs, green onions, relishes and still not sure about dessert. There will be some non traditional dish show up not sure what this year.

Any particular time that we should all show up?

Will have to take a rain check.  We send some grand sons on their way and welcome another one.

Happy New Year!  War Eagle!  War Ducks! and War Buckeyes! (for McGill)

We understand. By the way the dessert is a Mandarin Orange cake. Bring the grandson.
