With almost 100 years of managing Lake martin Dam, AL Power told us

they would use best effort to hold the lake level at 481 until Feb15th.

But a day of rain 10 days ago was obviously beyond the skill level of the Hydro Engineers.

laughs on you bud.  APCO manages ENTIRE RIVER SYSTEMS, wheras your only selfish concern is for what is happening in ftont of your house.  It is called an impound and was built for FLOOD CONTROL and power generation.  Down stream got more rain than we did.  It will be back to the curve in days.
